Just make sure the gazebo you choose has adequate ventilation — open sides or a vented roof are key when you're running a gas grill or pizza oven underneath. Several of our hardtop models are designed with that kind of open-air flow in mind.
Hardtop gazebos — especially our aluminum frame and polycarbonate roof options — are lower maintenance and stand up well to rain, wind, and whatever else the seasons throw at them. Wood gazebos bring a warmer, more classic aesthetic and tend to be a statement piece in the yard. Both are solid choices; it really comes down to your style and how much upkeep you want to deal with.
Most of our gazebos are designed for home assembly with standard tools and detailed instructions included. That said, larger wood frame models like the 12x14 can take a full day and an extra set of hands — don't try to go solo on that one. If you're anchoring to a deck or patio surface, you may want to consult a contractor for the footings.
